About Me

Bryan Snyder is the Director of Nutrition for the Miami Marlins, where he is responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the team's nutrition department. This includes writing policies and procedures for all areas of nutrition and conducting one-on-one consultations with players at every level of the organization. His comprehensive approach ensures that players receive tailored nutrition plans to enhance their performance, recovery, and overall health.

In 2023, Bryan served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Performance Nutrition at Texas A&M University, where he was responsible for the oversight, growth, and development of the university’s Performance Nutrition Staff. As part of his role, he represented the department on the Athletic Department’s Performance and Wellness Leadership Team, playing a key role in creating strategies that support the well-being and success of student-athletes. Bryan’s responsibilities included managing the training table, developing policies and procedures for nutrition services, and implementing nutrition education programs that promoted proper fueling and recovery.

Before his time at Texas A&M, Bryan was the longest-tenured dietitian in the NFL, spending nearly 14 years as the Director of Team Nutrition for the Denver Broncos. During his tenure with the Broncos, Bryan contributed to the team’s success, including five AFC West division titles, two AFC Championships, and a Super Bowl 50 victory. His role was critical in designing and executing nutrition programming, conducting sweat testing, providing sleep education, performing body composition assessments, and offering nutrition education across the organization. He also led the development of the Broncos' nutrition and culinary nutrition staff, ensuring that players had access to top-tier nutrition resources and support.

In addition to his work with the Broncos, Bryan has a wealth of experience across other major professional sports leagues. He has been a trusted consultant for the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Rockies, contributing his expertise to help optimize player performance and reduce injury risks. Bryan is also a frequent speaker at conferences and events nationwide, where he shares his knowledge on a variety of topics, including recovery nutrition, sleep optimization, pre-game fueling, leadership in sports nutrition, and how to optimize food to enhance performance and minimize injury.

Bryan’s career is also marked by his deep-rooted passion for working with young athletes. Growing up in a family of successful high school coaches—his mother is one of the winningest high school volleyball coaches in Colorado—Bryan developed a strong understanding of sports and athlete development from an early age. He has worked with high school athletes across the country and regularly speaks to schools, parents, and coaches on topics like recovery, hydration, sleep, and fueling for peak performance.

A native of Simla, Colorado, Bryan earned his degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado. He completed his dietetic internship at the same university in 2012 and is Board Certified as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics, which highlights his advanced expertise in sports nutrition.

Bryan and his wife, Sarah, currently reside in Bryan, Texas, with their six children: Kooper, Londynn, Annistynn, Emersynn, Beauen, and Krewz.
